Inside Sales Business Development Representative - Dallas, TX

FireScope is looking for an experienced and energetic Inside Sales Business Development Representative to join our Americas Sales team located in Dallas, TX. The Inside Sales Business Development Representative is responsible for achievement of quarterly qualified sales lead targets within an assigned geographic territory by providing ongoing lead qualification using an established sales methodology and building strong relationships over the telephone. An energetic approach along with strong product knowledge and virtual presentation skills will be critical to this role. You'll also work closely with a specific Regional Sales Manager to target and penetrate top target accounts in your assigned territory in addition to addressing inbound leads and inquiries.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quarterly qualified sales lead targets assigned to a specific geographic territory.
  • Prospect, qualify and build new business pipeline of potential customers through cold calling, lead qualification and creative territory research and development strategies.
  • Stay updated on FireScope products, services, and other general information of interest to prospective customers.
  • Keep abreast of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues.
  • Maintain self-discipline, time management and focus to effectively manage an intense and high activity lead generation business.
  • Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals and production levels as defined by sales management including established call metrics and expected forecasted results.

    Qualifications:
  • Dynamic, high energy sales professional with 3+ years successful experience in the Enterprise software, IT Data Security, Networking, Application or Server software segments.
  • Great listener with excellent persuasive communication and presentation skills over the telephone.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly sales objectives with a good combination of strategic thinking, resourcefulness and tactical implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong computer, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, WebEx and other SFA and social networking tools.
  • A self-starter with the ability and drive to work in a high-growth, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • BS/BA or equivalent is desired, but not required.

Compensation: $100,000 based upon a mix of competitive base salary and incentive-based compensation.

 


 

Senior Software Engineer

Develop, create and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Bachelor's + 5 years exp / Master's + 6 months to 2 years (Comp Sci, Engg, Math, MIS or Science) required. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Knowledge of C, C++, Java, XML, Perl, Shell Scripting, GNU Tools, SNMP, OOAD, UML, TCP/IP Socket programming, Design Patterns, Unix, Linux, Sun Solaris sparc/x86, Windows, Sql database, CVS required.

 


 

Java/J2EE Programmer

    Key responsibilities include:
  • Responsible for the programming of Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScripts, HTML, and SQL application components based on detailed design specifications
  • Responsible for creating detailed design specification for application components based on business requirements and conceptual designs
  • Responsible for ensuring that software requirements are accurately reflected in detailed designs and coded modules
  • Responsible for ensuring that software requirements are accurately reflected in coded modules
    Qualifications (2-4 years experience required with the following technologies)
  • Java/J2EE programming
  • Experience with HTML, SQL, JSP, UNIX, JDBC, JavaScript or STRUTS
  • Experience with JUnit, WebSphere, XML, or UML is a plus.
  • Application testing
  • Knowledge of web and Internet concepts, like HTTP.
  • Experience in OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Design Concepts
